Global Outreach
International Surgical Missions
We desire to establish self-sufficient medical clinics and surgery centers that can operate independently to provide care for as-yet unassisted communities and regions of the world, in places poorest, most remote, and least able to apprehend it for themselves. We are dedicated not only to the provision of medical care to these people-groups, but also to medical education and ongoing training of indigenous providers who can carry on the ministry year-round. Each year, Katartizo dispatches its surgical team on medical mission trips to provide free neurosurgical care to underserved populations in third-world countries. To date, we have completed over 10 missions, performed over 50 surgeries, and treated a range of problems, including but not limited to brain and spinal tumors, aneurysms, hydrocephalus, and complex spine diseases such as fracture, trauma, and compression.
